In an exciting announcement at the annual Snapdragon Summit held in Maui, Qualcomm revealed its latest innovation, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which it touts as the world’s fastest mobile centralized processing unit (CPU). During the event, Cisco Cheng, Qualcomm’s senior director of product marketing, announced that major manufacturers such as Asus, Honor, OnePlus, OPPO, Samsung, and Xiaomi are set to launch devices featuring this cutting-edge technology in the coming weeks. The architecture of the Oryon CPU has been overhauled, introducing a Prime core that is 46% more efficient than previous versions, capable of reaching speeds of up to 4.32GHz.
